Then Sings My Soul A Collection of Sacred Songs

I recorded these old hymns as I felt them, not necessarily as they were arranged and written by their original composers. My wish is that these songs help your heart as they have helped mine..

If You Knew

If You Knew is a melodic message. Rachel packs a lot of love into this project. She dedicates Nine Eleven to the victims of that fateful day, and she uses the piano, lyrics and vocals and the synthesizer to create music that is comfortingly upbeat, uplifting and soothing. The music on this cd is a mix of songs with vocals and songs with just instrumentals. This is done with relaxation in mind for the listener. Rachel proudly introduces her sister Leah's French Horn solo's on two of the songs on this project. The message is personal and simple. "If you knew how much I loved you, you would not be able to contain it".

Reflections of Life

Before I wrote this CD, I had ridden my bicycle across the U. S. and parts of Canada with my best friend. There was a lot of time to just "be," and the open air, scenery, and solitude prompted a lot of thinking. It was an arduous journey, but the rich lessons of the road had a profound impact on my soul. I experienced a depth of persistence, flexibility, confidence, and wonder I could not have otherwise known. When I returned to my home in Florida, the "journey" continued, and Reflections On Life was born.

New Horizons

I was in a coffee shop, flipping through a magazine, when the words "New Horizons" leapt off the page. It would become the title of my next CD. My life had evolved into the symbolic "next day" and I knew I was going to have to choose an approach to the new horizons that stretched across my line of vision. Of course, not all horizons boast of multi-colored sunrises; some are dark, foreboding and scary. This CD is my personal journey into those vast unknowns...often with a heavy heart and uncertainty about tomorrow, but always with hope and faith that one day that horizon would beckon me with joy.

Flowing Calm

This is the fifth CD that I've produced. As a licensed massage therapist I am attracted to and really enjoy creating music that is essentially soothing and peaceful.
My idea on this project was to keep the flowing nature and texture of the sound very calm. My goal in this CD is to quiet the mind. The piano tracks were laid down first and I later added the vocals. But,as you will note, there are no words sung on this project. I will make another CD with the lyrics for many of these songs were initially conceived with lyrical content at the heart.
