It was so fun to share this song I’d written over 10 years ago. Honest, it’s always a privileged joy for me to share my songs with people, as sometimes some of my song babies are created in solitude and they wait longingly for their time “in the sun” with others. This particular song was inspired by a friend whose friend was dying. When I asked my friend what message she wanted to give her friend who was dying, she answered “to tell her she is SO LOVED”. I did my best and created this song about birds and rivers and sunshine and people full of love and of the Giver of Love…

I hoped then that this song was what my friend wanted to share, and I most certainly hoped that the people at the benefit concert felt the love in the song, the love in the air, as the love we felt during that concert was palpable. Singing along with Amy Trinidad and my fellow musicians really brought this cheerful song into the limelight for a few sparkling moments of joy.
