Hi Rachel, I don’t know if you remember me from Christ Church. My son and I live up on a mountain in Bat Cave, in a community that is deep in the disaster zone and has been cut off from the world because of our exploded roads. My best friend attended your concert and sent me a couple of segments of videos this morning that had me boo hooing. So incredibly beautiful and touched my heart so powerfully. Thank you!! Even though we have been and still are being blessed constantly by the generosity of volunteers coming to help us, we do sometimes feel forgotten up here, especially with all the emphasis on Asheville. Until a week or so ago, there were armed guards keeping people other than residents and workers out because there’s so much destruction here and the roads are so dangerous. Would you mind if I shared those little videos my friend sent me with my neighbors on our private Facebook page? I think they will help others feel so loved and know we’re not forgotten.
Thank you for sharing your magnificent gift to help others! God bless you!
Love, Susan

Dear Rachel, Thank you for the most beautiful and memorable concert. Thank you for sharing the songs you have written. You are so gifted and we are so blessed to have you! The room was filled with the Holy Spirit. I heard in church on Sunday the amount that was raised. Wow, how wonderful! again Rachel.

I enjoyed the addition of the bass and the violin. The gentleman with the other amazing voice was an excellent touch. I could feel what he sang.

Rachel, I want to thank you and your entire “team” for this morning’s beautiful Concert. I am sure that you inspired many generous souls in that audience today.
It takes a great deal of work to put together a program like that – I am so impressed by your energy! You are truly a gift from God & it is so clear that you speak ( sing!) from the depth of your soul. You are so incredibly talented. Thank you for and keep on sharing that joyous love of the Lord Rachel

The concert music was amazing. Your talent for writing and singing is so inspiring…I left the concert feeling happy, floating on all the inspiring words from your songs, and believing your hard work will make a huge difference to those in areas of destruction. Thank you for your charitable gifts of love and talent <3

Thanks for the wonderful event this morning. This is just to confirm that we have asked that a $10,000 check be sent to EDRF from our donor advised fund, and we provided the specifics about the initiative of Christ Church with respect to Hurricane Helene in the notes.
